Athletic Association
The Athletic Association at St. Henry School is comprised of volunteers, who oversee and coordinate the athletic program. St. Henry is part of the Central State Catholic Schools league which consists of St. Bernard of Watertown, St. John the Baptist of Jefferson, St. Joseph of Fort Atkinson, St. Jerome of Columbus, and St Katherine Drexel of Beaver Dam. St. Henry’s Athletic Program consists of the following sports: girls’ volleyball grades 5 – 8, girls’ and boys’ basketball grades 4 – 8, and cheerleading. All of our coaches are volunteers, who instill their love of the game in our student athletes.
Notes
Meetings for the 2011 – 2012 school year are held the first Wednesday of the following months: September, November, January, March, and May at 6:30 p.m. in the computer lab of St. Henry’s school. Additional meetings may be scheduled if necessary at the same time/place in the months not listed if items exist that warrant attention prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting.
Looking for volunteer opportunities to fulfill your service hour requirement? St. Henry’s will be hosting the “B” League basketball tournament. Many volunteers will be needed to make it a success. There are also volunteer opportunities available at all home games such as admission, concessions, and scoreboard. Parental involvement is essential to the success of the athletic program.
