Sports

The St. Henry Athletic Association coordinates several sports teams for the students in grades 4-8.  Students attending St. Henry School or St. Henry Religious Education Program are eligible to participate.  All of the programs offered are dependent on having enough athletes register to participate and coaches willing to volunteer.  All volunteer coaches are required to fulfill the Diocese-mandated Safe Environment training before working with any  students/athletes.  The following sports are currently offered:

• Volleyball - Girls in grades 5-8
• Basketball - Boys and Girls in grades 5-8
• Introductory Basketball - Boys and Girls in grade 4
• Cheerleading - Boys and Girls in grades 5-8

Registration for school-sponsored sports takes place in the springtime of the preceding school year.  Once the number of teams has been determined, late sign-ups can only be accepted if there is still room on the teams.
