4K Preschool Program

4K/Preschool Program Partnership with Watertown Unified School District

In 2008-09 the St. Henry Preschool program became part of the Watertown 4K Partnership Program with the public school system.   Both systems benefit from this arrangement. The 4K (preschool) Partnership program is held Monday through Thursday in the morning from 8:00 am until 11:15.  Children are registered at the public school office, and parents request St. Henry School as their first choice of a site.  There is a very minimal registration charge. 

Friday 4K Religious Preschool

Because of a few restrictions in the Public Partnership program, a separate, Friday morning preschool class is offered by the parish.  It incorporates religious themes, instruction, and prayer into its 8:00 to 11:15 time slot.  There is a separate charge for participation in the Friday 4K Program - for the 2011-12 school year, it is $150 per semester.  

4K Afternoon Care

Afternoon care is available daily until 3:00pm for the preschool students.  Those 4K students needing afternoon care will join the Kindergarteners for lunch and recess and then spend the afternoon in the Kindergarten classroom.   The cost for afternoon care for the 2011-12 school year is $10 per day.  Calendars are sent home at the beginning of each month for parents to indicate dates for afternoon care and payment is expected at that time.  

Before/After School Extended Care

In cooperation with St. Bernard's Catholic School, St. Henry families can arrange for before and/or after school care for thier children at St. Bernard's Day Care.  St. Bernard’s provides transportation before and after school for children needing this service.  For more details about St. Bernard's Day Care, click here.
